Description of The Widening Gyre

I used a coiled wire for the center and then pulled it out before the wax completely cooled. Gold leaf was used for the sun. When using a heat gun the melting wax, uncontrollable, can take on a life of its own.
I’m always looking up at the birds on the telephone wires above and along roads; what are they thinking about? The Second Coming?, Climate Change?, Water?
The painting is custom framed with a solid redwood frame and the artwork is “floating” meaning none of the edges are covered.
