Conspiring Cowbirds

In this encaustic artwork the cowbirds are painted in dark and light blues and ocher browns. The branches are rust browns with touches of grey and pink.

The background is layers of pink and blue with a mix of cream colored wax swirled over the surface giving the background depth.

The branch limbs and birds are outlined with a thin line of black.
