Two Pines

This is a sunrise painting with two pine trees.
I wanted the contrast of warm and cool colors; in the same way you have the cool of the morning yet knowing it’s going to be a hot day.
Often when pine trees grow close together they grow toward each other, about half way up you can’t tell one from the other as their interlocking branches grow between and around each other.

This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges painted to match the front of the painting. The work is varnished and ready to hang. All materials are high quality and archival.
