Jeweled Shadows II

My experiences with nature inspired my tree shadow series, and this work brings it to its furthest reaches of abstraction. Shadows and color are replaced by a quest for transcendence through abstraction.

Climate change stirs in me conflicting emotions about stewardship, loss, and culpability.

This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges painted to match the front of the painting. The work is varnished and ready to hang. All materials are high quality and archival.
