Goldfinch

This painting is of a traditional goldfinch.

The background is a light blue, the bird has hues of cream color, yellow, gold, red, blue. The light is coming from the right and creating shadows on the left side of the bird.

The frame is a simple elegant silver border with the canvas “floating”. The sides of the frame are black.(see image 2)
