Aubade

An aubade is a morning song, and I wanted to capture the idea of a new day, the early morning singing of songbirds, bright light and hope.
The colors are very rich and the paint is laid down thickly in dabs and long blending brushstrokes.

This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges painted to match the front of the painting. The work is varnished and ready to hang. All materials are high quality and archival.
